Welcome to the newly redesigned
Gazelle News Page
Now iPhone friendly!
On your left are the various 'story buttons'. The "HOME" button will bring you to this page and the "Return to the Gazelle opening page" button will open the LimpingGazelle.org Homepage in a new window. This page (wherever you left off) will still be in the background behind that page.
Notes for playing the videos:
I'm on a
Mac!
{and considering all the nasty viruses out there, why aren't you?)
Even with the proper software, (see below) it may take a moment for the video window to do anything, depending on the speed of your machine, Internet connection, how clean your underwear is (didn't you know that?), etc.
If
the Video Window (this area) opens with:
A large white screen,
A large black screen,
A big blue "Q",
A frozen video,
Or any combination of these,
Everything is fine!!
Just wait anywhere from two to thirty seconds for the video to start moving.
You can pause
the video by clicking on it and start it again, by double-clicking on it.
To start from the beginning, just click on the button to the left, again.
Site notes:
Now, not only is the site much easier for you to navigate, but it is exponentially easier for me to update. Instead of trying to rewrite the whole page every week, I can just change a button and a video and slip them in without writing new code. (which I'm sure thrills you no end) Instead of being overwhelmed and unable to update for lack of time, I can update a story or two at a time. Not only easier, but it also allows me to get to stories as they happen. Instead of a weekly update that seldom happens, there will be continuous updates as stories catch my eye. Now, a story can reside here for anywhere from a few days to a few months, and you can influence this.
If you like a particular story or know of something you think should be included on the site, or have any comments, let me know at: prey@TheLimpingGazelle.org
I will hold true to my subscribers and never send more than one update notice a week, as promised. But I encourage everyone to check back regularly for new updates. Now that I have streamlined the process for me, along with my new hardware, updates should be happening often!

All of the video on this site requires Apple Quicktime Which you can download for free by clicking the hotlink. You needn't worry about spam or viruses, just don't check the box 'News from Apple'. This is the exact same software that powers iPods so if you have an iPod synced to this machine, you already have it. Otherwise, it is a two-minute, guided installation.
